Cybercrowds in Greece

Thanks to text messages, about 10,000 people gathered together in front of the Athens Parliament a few days ago to protest “the Government’s mistakes regarding the fight against the fires”.

According to David and Natalia, the people came together thanks to text messages that said “Greece is in ashes. Why?”. Black was the symbol of the protest, and the people were asked to dress using that color. It was also requested that no one bring anything related to party affiliations. Greek citizens have begun to organize themselves and call for protests regarding the lack of political action against the forest fires. The unrest may modify the scenario of the parliamentary elections on September 16th.
